This site collects personal information that users voluntarily provide during registration, in order to ensure that the services offered are carried out properly and with full functionality. This personal information includes:

  • login credentials, such as username and password,
  • contact details, such as title, salutation, name, email address, country, and affiliation,  
  • article information, such as title, abstract, key words, topics, author information, article and its supplementary files, 
  • other user details, such as main research topics and ORCIDs.

We do not store credit card details.

How do we collect information?

We collect personal information through this site and customer journal/publisher websites, when users register through the journal submission gateways, when they submit new manuscripts, when they subscribe to newsletters or e-mail lists, when they send us an e-mail, or when they use other services provided by us. Registered users may update their data through the site at any time. Users are solely responsible for keeping personal information up-to-date and accurate.

How do we use personal information?

We use personal information to deliver our services to the publishers, maintain customer journal/publisher websites, provide technical support, enhance user experience, tailor customized content, calculate and display web analytics, process and fulfill orders, notify changes and updates. 

Publishers use EditorialPark system and services to manage their daily editorial operations and publish new articles on journal websites. They may use the personal information to solicit new manuscript submissions and communicate promotional messages. Who do we share personal information?

We recognize the importance of the privacy of your personal information. We share your data with EditorialPark employees, contractors, customer publishers/editors/reviewers, and service providers on a need-to-know basis, when their services are required to maintain our own services, facilitate the management of editorial peer-review operations, publish articles online on journal/publisher websites, and other similar publication related purposes. Other than these common circumstances necessary for routine article publishing operations, we do not share personal information, unless we are obliged to respond to requests from legal authorities. In case of a merger or an acquisition, your personal data may be transferred to a third party involved in this corporate event.

Where do we store personal information?

We store information in servers and databases behind a firewall with distributed and encrypted backups within secure data centers to enable uninterrupted access and additional level of protection against data loss. 

How do we keep personal information secure?

We apply industry standard administrative, technical, and physical measures as best as we can to keep the personal information secure, and to protect it from any unauthorized access, misuse, or accidental loss. We limit the number of employees who are authorized to access any personal information. Access is offered through secure HTTPS, with all interactions require login credentials. However, we cannot guarantee that information will be fully protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, misuse, or loss, and that data integrity and security will be ensured, and we cannot accept liability in such cases. How do you ensure children’s privacy?

Our services and websites are aimed at academics working at universities and scientific institutions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 or target our services to children under 13.
